Welcome to the LW Board.  It is very friendly here.  We have all types of surgery and respect each other's choices.

 Welcome, Anne!

Can you guess that I like your avatar based on my own? You will find this is a great group. Very little drama; kindness when we need it. We can vent and crow and know it wil not be slammed.

Congratulations on goal. I am turtling to the finish.

Welcome Anne.  I've noticed you over on the RNY board and are glad you are visiting here also.  Congrats at your loss and successful maintaining.  Several of us are working on how to do that and we can share that part of the journey together.

LOL, yeah, had me running for cover too, right here to the LW board. As the year went by, I would stick my head (on a platter usually) out to see what was going on and sometimes commenting.

But this board is a quiet port in the stormy sea that is OH.

Hi Anne
Welcome to the LW board.  It's great to have another person who has been successful and is now in the maintenance phase.  I'm sure you'll have lots of great suggestions for those of us who are just beginning the journey.

Welcome to the LW board!

I'm new here, not just the LW board, but the OH in general.  LOL, it sounds like I have missed a doozy of a board.  I found the LW board and have stuck with it, not even peeking into the others.  I guess if I get bored someday I will venture and peek, but I have found great support and help on this board so far!

Hi, Ava, I'm not replying directly to you because my iPad won't let me. Sometimes I have access to my friend's laptop and sometimes I don't.

It is a very entertaining drama over there, isn't it? I'm not sure if it's a comedy or a tragedy, LOL. But I'm having fun taking a stand with them and seeing what happens. Their responses are very predictable, and it's helping me think about why it can be so hard to take a stand for oneself. More later....
