Lynn, I am out a little over one year (seems hard to believe it has been that long) and I LOVE my sleeve. It is definitely the best thing that I have ever done for my health. I still weigh and measure my food and use an online tracking tool to keep track of various nutrients. The further out that you get from surgery, you will be able to eat more, but if you remain mindful, the weight will stay off.
Exercise will help to speed your weight loss, especially, after the first few months, when the weight loss will slow down.

I had surgery on Aug 1st and have lost 40lbs. I just wanted to recomend using Myfitnesspal.com to track your food intake if you are having any trouble. I LOVE it! There is an app for it on the iphone as well as android phones and I track everything as I eat from there as well as my weight daily. The food database is huge and if you can't find something, you can just add it in yourself if need be. I am loving my sleeve too and the tools I've found to help me keep the weight coming off!
Good luck!
