Well at least this part is going to be a breeze as you get to eat pretzels, chips, smoothies, pudding etc.  Its the after surgery that I know is going to be tough.

But so far 9/16 is my date.

I went to the Docs today for a neck and back adjustment and didn't get to see my usual Doc as he took a long weekend.

Well my thyroid hormones were off a bit and I asked him if he could up it a little more than normal since im going to be having some malabsorption with the DS surgery.  Boy was that a mistake. LOL
He was all over me that I should do a lapband and all these people who have the RNY and DS how they have to deal with all their problems LOL   Im like isn't that your job?  He's a good Doc but pretty opinionated with only one right way, his way.  Glad he's not my Doc or wouldn't be for long anyway :-)

I hope you fired his uneducated opinionated butt!

Ok, I know you'll be fine on your pre-surg "diet" because I'm pretty sure you are as determined as they come. You're going to do great.

Even after, with no complications, it is pretty easy.  Just follow the rules.  From what I have seen of you, you will be fine.

We have to make our best informed decision about which surgery.  You will be fine as long as you know what you are getting into.  And I for one wouldn't get into a lap band.  Stick to your guns.

 Tony,

Ignore the ignorant and follow your pre-surgery diet.  You will do fine.

Well Gina, If I was his boss I certainly would of had a talk with him. But since he is one of many docs there and not my doc its in one ear and out the other. But hey,hes doing his best in his own way to make sure you really think about it. But its certainly not how I would of approached a patient.

I am pretty determine and being type A I will be doing everything im told. Im only going to do this once in my lifetime and its going to be done right
