I had the coolest pair of white pants that were bell-bottomed and hip hugger!!  With these I had this shirt that was made like a baby's onesy that snapped so it couldn't come untucked!!  Super cool!!  Do you remember gaucho's(sp)?  We wore these with boots and a vest.

I loved rock n roll - we went to see Alice Coopers' - Welcome to my Nightmare at the Omni in Atlanta.  Loved the Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith - I hope my kids behaved better than I did!!  Those were the good ole days...

I had a crush on Bobby Sherman, too, and Mark Slade from http://www.thehighchaparral.com/.  I don't remember too much from my childhood except bell bottom pants and midi dresses.
The teen years is when I discovered drugs and alcohol so that is kind of a blur.  I do remember hip huggers.  I had a friend who would take her pants and sew them so they could get as low as possible.  Kind of like they have now.  I go to the thrift store to find jeans and they have these pairs that have a zipper that is only about an inch long.  Makes me feel old.  I don't like to wear pants that feel like they are falling off.
I had a huge crush on Neil Young.  I grew up in L.A. and worked as a messenger in the music business so I got to meet a lot of people.  I also had a crush on David Letterman.  I was his first stalker.  I used to see him perform at the Comedy Store, which was my hang out for a long time.  Then I started going to music night clubs and watched all the local bands.  I also loved Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, Jim Carroll, the Band.  My best memory was seeing the last show the Band ever did with all the original members at the Roxy.  I went to see Rick Danko, who I loved and went to all his shows.  It was when they were making the Last Waltz and they had some scenes to film so the whole group showed up as a surprise.  I was sitting right at Robbie Robertson's feet.  I will never forget.  They never performed again as a whole.  I hung out at places like Madame Wong's and Club 88 and saw bands like the Naughty Sweeties (had a huge crush on the keyboard player) and the Kats, whose lead singer was dating a 16 year old beauty named Demi.  A few years later, after I was married, I was watching soap operas and they had a new character on General Hospital and it was little Demi, all grown up.  Demi Moore.  She was a sweet girl.
Lot's of wild times and memories.  Now I have a very dull life and I like it alot because I know I didn't miss out on anything.
