Good Morning. Curiosity question about eating habits
My program did not say anything about just 3 meals a day and I am thankful for this. I felt hunger within a month out of surgery (surprise to me!!). I also feel fullness pretty easily too. SO, I eat every 2-3 hrs usually and small amounts. I can eat more now that I am 6 months out but it is still pretty small.....some days I can only eat 1/2 of my small serving and other days I can eat more. I usually STOP eating when I am full but occasionally pu**** which I regret as I hate feeling super full. Tonight I was eating some chicken and had to stop as I felt full and knew it wasnt sitting "right". I drink a protein coffee first thing (30 grams of protein) and usually a protein shake as a before dinner snack (often before working out). There is NO way I would be happy if I could only eat 3 times a day. I get annoyed at this suggestion as for those of us that do feel hunger, it would be miserable being hungry most of the day.
Just my two cents though.

I much prefer to get by on shakes as I know they are "safe" for me. I hate eating out and hate parties where I am too tempted to "snack" But since no one know about my WLS except family I do my best to get by.
3 meals a day just does not work for me I can also get shaky if I go too long with out eating. My goal was to find a balance that I could sustain for a lifetime.
