OT Like a Kid at Christmas
I admit it. I am addicted to Craigslist. Everyday I check out the free ads and see what wonderful things people are giving away. Last night I saw an ad for a bike so I wrote an email saying I would love to have it. It was a single speed with a basket.
She called me back this morning and I went to get it this afternoon. I could not believe she was giving this away!
It has a basket and a rear rack as well as a bell. She even threw in a helmet! It has a little rust but it looks great. I took it home and rode it for about 30 minutes and it rides great, too!
I wanted to have an extra bike for my daughter (still trying to talk her into riding) or if my other bike doesn't work.
I still prefer my other bike. It is a 21 speed mountain bike that I put different handlbars on so it is much more comfortable to ride.
It also has a basket and a nice gel seat. I really appreciated the gears when I was riding the single speed up an incline but I do like it for running around the neighborhood.
