Charles & I are gonna be grandparents!!! I made the comment to him this morning when we found out that our grandchild would never know us as FAT!

Also, pending inspection, we found a house...4 bedrooms/2 baths, 2200 sq ft, 2 screened porches, a fireplace, on 3 acres of land all of 5 mins from downtown!! Here is a link to the photos...some are fuzzy, will do better before we actually move in. Moving in date will be around the 15th of Sept.

Wonderful news Liz.  Hang a red bow on the front door and later put one on the baby's crib for luck.

I've heard it's an old wives taie, a Jewish tradition, an Italian tradition, etc. (like swinging lizards came from swinging chickens!)
It's supposed to bring luck and ward off bad things-a kind of protection.  I used to give one to people when they bought new cars, too.
Hey, it can't hurt!

When I got my new car last year, a friend bought me the largest red bow she could find. It was larger than the steering wheel.  I loved it.  It was supposed to be bring me good luck.
