Morning all.
Do you have any tips..tricks..how to's..did ya knows? From post of to cleaning to laundry to make up and etc. Please Share.

1. Did ya know that if you put your eyeliner in the freezer for about 10 minutes, it applies more smoothly.

2. Did ya know that rubbing a piece of white potatoe can heal a toe corn.(tried on a relative and it worked) mild stage though

3. Did ya know that applying hair conditioner to your hair before swiming helps to protect from chlorine damge if your hair is sensitive to it? Also, protect light colored hair?

4. Ever tried dipping your toothbrush in baking soda with a little toothpaste? It gives your mouth an...awwww moment.   lol

1)  I learned the niftiest formula thingy for Excel yesterday...=(cell address) + f4 (enter). Then click into the cell and turn the cursor into a cross on the bottom right hand corner, double click and voila, instant column of numbers with live connection to the original cell. If you need to change the numbers all you have to do is change the value in the original cell.

2) Post-op...If it hurts to drink plan water, try adding a squeeze of fresh lime juice and sweeten to taste with Splenda or Truvia.

Have to try the eyeliner trick!

Fiber One brownies (90 calories) are really good, but they crumble all over the place.  Keep them in the freezer instead. No crumbles and yummy!

I  know of two  " magic ingredients  "   that  U  can look for  - cheap  -  in  over the counter  and health food  store   type  gels and  bodywashes  and even creams that REALLY   WORK to erase  stretch marks , old scrars ,  flabby baggy skin  etc ...  from the INSIDE OUT  .

Primarily by increasing deep cell turnover  rate  - making  skin ACT as  if it were  dozens of  years younger   and so  heal itself  seamlessly and FAST .  It also  strengthens  collagen layers  making the skin thicker and more resilient ( as  we age  skin thins out  becoming more vulnerable to sun damage ,  wrinkling etc  ..)

1)  Allicin  ( onion extract )  - the main ingredient in scargel   -   softens  and  blends in  even old scars  (  also works great on WRINKLES  )

other  similar -ly  working substances are  vitamin A extract (  Retinol )or Vitamin  C extract   or  Hylauronicacid  ( which is good for lightening dark  spots )  .    ALWAYS  wear SUNSCREEN   after  applying  these  things on UR FACE    - they make U a bit photosensitive (  U should wear sunscreen 100 %  ofthe time ANYWAY  DUH  -  but be real careful to reapply  faithfully  especially  around  the  cheekbones - outer eye - forehead area )

2)  My old cheapie favorite standby good ole 2%salicylic acid  ...  which is  AWESOME   for pulling in and firming up excess skin  after WLS .    Again it just  THICKENS    what ya got and gradually  brings it down in size  ..  WITHOUT  PS .    I use  a  salicylicacid   scrub EVERY TIME   I wash my face and  every time  Im in the shower and people always say i havethe most beautiful skin lol ... theyre  expecting to hear that I use some 300  dollar a jar cream like  peau de  mer  lol  and  I dont  .  Granted i DO have oily skin though ...

3) After  Uve  opened  Ur skin up  and gotten  it turning over as fast as it can  im a big fan of  L'oreal's drugstore skin care line   (  Skin Genesis  pore  minimizer  -  Collagen Remodeler   or  Youth Code  serum ...  )  also  their Collagen Filler /  Eye  Illuminator   product to minimize dark circles and  "   spackle " in tiny wrinkles beforre U put on Ur  undereye concealer .  They  have presented some evidence too  that using this product actually  fills in the wrinkles over time ...  hmm .  All this  stuff  immediately  brightens and tightens skin and  the collagen remodeler  also hasa tiny amount of sunscreen in it  (spf 15  not NEARLY  enough)  .   Why dont they  put  SPF 100  in there ?!!  Then it would actually MEAN something  ...

OK, I need some brands please. I'm in need of skin products for tightening and for acne and dark spot removal. I don't want to go back to the dermatologist since I have to spend that money on the WLS dr. Where do I get Allicin or Hylauronicacid? I will look for L'oreal collagen filler/eye illuminator because I am noticing the dark circles big time with the weight loss. I will look for sun screen for oily skin as well because I am bad about using it.

My Dr has me using Glycenol products.  Its like a mini peel, but over time.  There are also products for lightening of spots.  Its not cheap, but it lasts a LONG time...

I tend to have oily skin too.

Neutrogena  makes a great  oil  free 2% salicylic acid containing  "acne "wash  available in drugstores  ...  sometimes U can get a  BIG  bottle  called a bodyscrub with the  same formulation at the same price .   The grapefruit scented one  is really nice  ... but if I cant get that i just use the regular and mix it with a bit of whatever sweet smelling  shower gel of the day im  using ...

The most effective drugstore brand i know  bang-for-the buck wise is ROC   products .   The concentration of active ingredient in them is  usually  2  -4  times  in comparable drugstore products .

I also like L'oreal  I think they  have really pioneered  some great new affordable products that really work .    The two brands are  competitors  in Europe  where  most people  cant afford anything  " better " than our drugstore level of affordability ..  so their  products really have to WORK  or people  wont invest their hard earned money in them ... just  look  for the  product that does what U want and then look  for the active ingredient (  and the concentration )  ... Ull see what I mean.

Curiosity  - have U  or anyone U know tried  the  " Dr.s Regimen for Brown Skin  ? "  thats being  touted  in the infomercials ?   The photographed results  look amazing  in terms of  evening skin tone ...

Great. I will go look for some today. My sister uses Neutrogena products. I have never heard of Drs. Regimen for Brown Skin. I will Google it and see if where I can get it.
