Yep, i have been denied after my first appeal. I don't think i can pursue another appeal emotionally. Thinking about going to mexico. I can't beleive this. I was approved for my primary surgery under the same condititions.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't have any advice for you, but hopefully someone can chime in.

I have heard there is an OH member who is really good at writing appeal letters.. maybe Gina knows who that is.

What was the basis of the denial? If it's a "one bariatric surgery per lifetime" exclusion, you are screwed. If it was some aspect of your application, you can address that.

But it's a revision. You aren't supposed to have to re-qualify for a revision, just prove the other surgery failed due to mechanical issues and not non-compliance. You can definitely fight this. You might want to contact Obesity Law for some help.
