Hi Gina!  No soapbox needed.

I fought with the internet/phone company today.  Seems I "signed" a 1 year agreement on the internet when I signed up.... Umm.. NOOOO, I specifically told the guy I DON'T DO CONTRACTS.  Mainly because just movingin with Tom, heck, I didn't know how long I'd be here.  We had cable run to the house and set up yesterday.  Much faster.. I don't need their DSL, but I still need the phone because my cell service sux here.  We're looking at a booster.  Then I'll be able to get rid of it. 

So, I can get out of the $99 term fee if I MOVE to a location they don't serve.  I think I'm moving to my daughters' place next month...

That's my soapbox.  Selling products and telling people what they want to hear and not doing what they say.  I specifically told 2 supervisors I wanted that person to have a discussion.  They both said they would do it.
