You guys are my best support too. Thank you for all the nice comments on my surgiversary yesterday.

What's on your to-do lists today? One contract I'm on is coming to an end and another is continuing at least for a short time. The uncertainty of the times scares me spitless. I need a feeling of security in the worst way.

(((((Gina))))), I understand your need for security. Wish I could make the uncertainty go away.

On our to do list today is a nut visit this morning. (6 months) and then we go back to househunting...we did most of Knoxville/Maryville yesterday. Today we head up by my friend's to look there...in fact she is going with us once we get up there.

We still like the one we saw the first day we looked, it's our favorite but we can't bid on it til they release it from it's current bid.

Good morning!

To do list, get ready for back to school, finish up a little laundry. Nothing too exciting.

I hope things at work get better. Not knowing is the worst feeling.

Clients are cancelling like crazy because everyone is going on vacation before school starts.  It's relaxing for my schedule-not so much for my pocketbook!
I get to go to lunch with a friend today since she'll be back at work next week.  Believe it or not, teachers go bak to work on Aug. 15 and kids follow on Aug 22nd.
Make it a good one today

I agree with the not knowing stuff.  We are facing immense changes in November and January as well as a cut in Oct.  The joys of being part of Medicaid.

I'm doing the billing and hopefully getting some more paperwork caught up, packing and flying to Ohio to visit DD for about a week.  So I will be on line less but will check in when I can.  I should pick tomatoes and put them in the freezer but I think DH will have to pick them and give them away.  I would love to get to Greenville early enough to go to the Thrift Store there which is huge and very well organized but we will see.  I also don't want to leave until my Vitalady box gets here with my calcuim I wanted to take.  I can take pills but I figure I will be more compliant traveling with chews and lazenges.

Bought a swimsuit for the trip.  Can't say I am real excited about it because of the skin issues but I figured I'd never see those folks (not DD) again so oh well.  Packing light on clothes to get in all my protein, etc for a week.

Work is on the agenda for me today.  Belts are tightening everywhere.  Being the HR person, I have all the insight to management's thought process and potential cuts.  I don't even want to have lunch with my co-workers these days.  I'm afraid I'll let something slip.  Very stressful.

DS2 is coming over tonight.  We're making Jello shots for a party he is attending this weekend.  He wants to use his Mom's recipe.  He's very responsible.  I am not the HR person at home.

Congratulations on 4 years and one day, Gina!  Sorry I missed yesterday!

My to do list...get ready for all my martial art afterschool programs to start!  Making fliers and such for open houses.  I am looking forward to getting it all going because it has been a slow summer! Too many people decided to take the summer off from class which means they don't pay!  It's a good thing I don't eat much anymore!  LOL!

My Mom is getting one of  her cataract taken off today...I'm so excited for her!!

Just had a staff meeting and things aren't looking good for next years budget. I hate the uncertainity too.  I'm going to try not to stress about it, but I'm going to work at getting my finances in order.
