Still in the hospital

Still can't take in much fluid. And now (TMI  ALERT) there is a large ammount of blood in my very watery stools. The dr says that my hematicrit(sp) is normal but "trending down". The surgeon doesn't want to take me back to surgery yet. He wants to give everything a little more time. I trust him, so it looks like I might be here for a while.

I know that the drs aren't worried yet, and they say that I'm doing about as well as they expected. but I still want to go home. I am so sick of feeling sick. My husband keeps reminding me of my reasons for doing this. And he keeps telling me how "worth it" all of this will be. I'm losing my motivation

Oh dear.  I'm so sorry you are having problems but staying there so they can monitor you is important.  Home will still be there when they let you go.  Your hubby is right, think about why you did this.  You will be healthy again, promise.  i'm swinging for you.

Hang in there... believe it or not this will all be a distant memory...I had a major complication which almost cost my life.  Once I was able to go home I remembered what this wall all about... and it is worth it!!

I really hope your issues resolve without another surgery.  I know you're feeling miserable now, but down the road, this will be a distant memory.

Hang in there.

So sorry you are still going through this, but I am glad your doc is on top of things.

Lovin your hubby! You wont always feel sick, just try to remember that. You are just struggling to get over a hurdle right now.

Prayers for a speedy recovery!

Hang in there, and keep doing what the docs are telling you.  They have more experience with this than you do. When you get home, this will be soon be a distant memory.

Take Care,
Eliza
