Krav got the best of me :(
Last Saturday at Krav class we were practicing falls onto the mat. You go from a squatting position and kinda roll//fall backward. Apparently my spine isn't very flexible (I knew this but DH never believed me until he saw it) and I did back-flops (the equivalent of a belly-flop only on your back) for 30 min straight.
I've been on ice/heat all week with massage and chiropractic to no avail. My upper back is killing me.
Maybe I'm getting too old for something like Krav? I hope not because I really like it, but dang - I always end up hurt!

Sorry you are hurt. Hope the chrio can make you better soon.
I know about the love hate thing. I really loved Zumba too but it didn't love my knee. Getting old sucks.

I don't have one close either since I'm in a rural setting... However, I found a book that explained to me so that I could understand (and accept) why yoga would be so good for me. It's phenomenally easy to read and follow at home instead of or until a yoga class is found. The sooner we get started, the sooner we start turning the clock around... square biz.

Bekah,
Here's hoping you feel better soon. Belly flops but on your back? OUCH@!!!
Have you tried applying arnica gel or arnica oil to your back to help the inflamation?
We get it in gel form from the health food store. Apply several time a day.
My husband, who is so NOT into woowoo, says it's better than biofreeze (which only masks the hurt)
