Good Morning. TGIF and all that
I've kick-started my job search and the market seems to be a lot hotter than it was when I was first laid off.

Congrats on your surgiversary Gina!
Coming up on my 6 month surgiversary, so I'll get bloodwork done. I left my vitamins on the desk in the Pennsylvania hotel 4 weeks ago, and I have to go get another weekly pill organizer because I'm not being very good at pulling from the bottles. That was another GREAT thing you taught me-- to count out my vitamins ahead of time and make it as easy as possible to do things right. I have a CVS coupon that will make that purchase cheaper...
This week was better than last --I decided after agonizing for 2 months not to take the 14 they offered me, but to accept my invitation to the Leadership Development Program appointment with my current company. The PM of the program I'm supporting doesn't seem to happy with me, but I explained that I need a full year to heal from this surgery, and the stress of the job is playing havoc with my recovery.
Today I'm actually taking some ME time and doing a full closet reconnaissance. Tried on every shirt in the closet last night, and pulled out 1/3 that are now too big, and a few that I bought for 75 cents that I just don't like wearing. Now I'm going to do that for the pants and skirts. Then I'm going upstairs and try on all the clothes I thrifted that were a bit too small when I bought them. Given my inch loss in the past 4 weeks, I'm betting those clothes are gunna be hanging in the closet tonite! Frankly, I get an absolute THRILL that I dress for work appropriately and with class for generally $1.75 an outfit. Whodathunk?
