thanks, gina! yes, when i told hubby i wanted tomato juice he looked at me like i had sprouted another head... "but, you dont LIKE tomato juice" lol, i guess i do now! my body craved it and told me, and it didnt let me down with money going down the drain.
thats a good tip with watering things down. i'll try that. my nut told me she wasnt too worried about the protein much yet, but she also told me a few other things were ok that i have read are not, so it's good to know from someone who has been there and knows what she's talking about. i wish the nutritionists i have had to deal with had information that is the same as the stuff i have been researching myself. i know you cant trust everything you read on the internet, but when you go to protein conference sites, and others do their research, live the life and have the labs to prove it, i just wish i could trust my nutritionist to know this stuff as well. they do work for a bariatric center, after all!

Welcome home and to the loser's bench. Sounds like you are doing great and it will only get better. I used unflavored protein in warm herb tea to get away from some of the sweet stuff. Also unflavored in homemade chicken broth. Even room temp water was better than cold. Your taste will continue to change and soon you will be able to do most anything.
