thanks, linda! today i had my mother around, but she just read her book and i was able to do most everything i needed myself. i'm glad i had her come, just as a back-up if i needed someone to help with 'the bucket' or helping me get up if i was having problems.
this surgery was amazing for me! the anethesialogist was amazing, i wasnt sick at all, barely had nausea, and i am one who get sick with it. they deserve a medal for that one!

That tomato juice sounds like an wonderful idea. Number one priority is fluids the next few weeks. You can catch up on the protein later. Keep doing little tests with the flavors but don't worry. Don't be afraid to dilute juices and shakes and see if you can tolerate them better watered down.
