Hello LW...
Well its been a while sense I have posted on the site...Life just kinda took off. Ya know with 6 kids plus college, work and home life lol...Well I wish I could update my weight tracker but I can't I have no clue how much I weigh in at. I refuse to buy a scale. I don't want to become scale happy lol. But my tights don't rub together when I walk woohoo....My pants are a size 18/20 from a 26 my shirt size is a med/large down from a 3X. I'm just over 4 months post op from having the sleeve done. My hair is falling out sooo badly. I am about to go buy a wig to wear lol. Anyways I will update my weight in the next few days. I love my new body and the way i feel. I'm so happy I did this for myself...Hope you all have a great and wonderful day...

Hi there!

Some folks do well with wigs for a short time until the hair grows back. There are some very attractive ones out there. Keep pushing the vitamins and protein. Take a look at Vitalady's site for recommended vitamins for each surgery type. The new site has some good info on it. www.vitalady.com .

Congratulations on your successes so far. You sound super busy, so remember to take care of yourself first.

((hugs))

Hi April, come on back whenever you can.  The hair thing gets better.  I am still losing but have new fuzz everywhere.  Great that you have been able to not be a slave to the scale that so many of us are.  We should follow your example.  My NUT keeps saying to just live like normal and it sounds like you are.  Congrats.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I have a scale and make myself stick to one day a week. I plan on doing this until I reach goal then using my clothes to maintain. I have been encouraged by my Dr. to live normal, eat normal (within reason), etc. I totally understand how you feel.
