Good Afternoon everyone, has been a long hot Friday for me, have already traveled to central Va and back and I am ready to relax. Let's get the weekend started and have some fun

1. What is the furthest you have travelled away from home?

2. If you had a choice which would prefer, swimming pool or beach?

3. Victories/Challenges for the week.

1. What is the furthest you have travelled away from home? I once lived in Italy when my father was in the Navy, although I was young I do remember it.

2. If you had a choice which would prefer, swimming pool or beach? Pool all the way! I cant stand bringing the beach home with me.

3. Victories/Challenges for the week
. I do not believe there have been any real victories but the only challenge is getting my food and fluids while at work.

Thanks for the fun post, it's good not to be serious

1. Chekoslovakia and Nicaragua are the two furthest places I've travelled. I hope to do more since my husband retired this year but will work one more year on contract as we have a high school student still at home.

2. Beach I think, I always watch "International House Hunters" and love seeing all the lovely beaches that are calling to me.

3. Carbs have been a challenge for me and I know it is my per period time that just drives me crazy. Somehow I need to figure out how to get past it each month.
Victories, cleaned out our city condo for our renters. It was amazing the number of times I walked up and down the stairs without even thinking and I was not tired carrying all our personal junk out of it.

Gotta love WLS

1.  When my DD was doing her junior year in England I spent 2 weeks with her in England and France.

2.  Pool anyday.  Actually, sand bottomed lake is my very favorite.  We had a lake place when I was growning up and I can remember swimming, fishing, sailing and water skiing all summer.

3.  Victories, I survived the hot days in Ky for pony club.  Challenges, same thing.  Plus the whole scale bouncing thing.  I would be ok with being done, it is just anxiety producing to not know.  I can't seem to put it to rest.

1. Visited Alaska and ended up moving there for a few years. Beautiful!

2. Beach over pool any day! Just listening to the surf is so relaxing for me.

3. Victories- Almost through with the pre op liquid diet and I haven't cheated once!!! And I am almost completely done with the preparations to have the house ready for coming home from the hospital!

Challenges- Not cheating on the liquid diet!!! lol  I also had a hard time finding a RTD protein that my stomach could tolerate from the list they gave me. Victory-   Finally found one the nutritionist would accept, and today I haven't been as sick as I have been in the last two days.

1) The furthest I've traveled is Italy too. I was near Pisa and got to visit there, Florence and took a day trip to the Little Alps.

2) I really like the beach with the sound of the surf and the cool breeze.

3) Challenge this week was getting out to walk. It's hot up here too.

1. What is the furthest you have travelled away from home?  Well, I've never left the United States!!  When I was young we would camp every summer for two weeks and travel to different places, the furthest from Georgia was when we went within 10 miles of the California state line.

2. If you had a choice which would prefer, swimming pool or beach?  I love them both, but probably the beach would be my favorite because of the sound of the waves and there is almost always a breeze blowing.

3. Victories/Challenges for the week.  I managed to keep my night time snacking way down this week and can tell a difference on the scale- now if I can make it through the weekend!!  Challenges have been exercise this week - it is sooo hot - makes it hard to walk outside and Zumba is at the college and they are in between semesters so taking a break right now.

1. What is the furthest you have traveled away from home?
Either Bangkok or Baghdad, I'm not sure which is the furthest.

2. If you had a choice which would prefer, swimming pool or beach?
Beach! With my scuba gear, my honey, and a pina colada ready when we get back. I think I'm channeling my vacation next month.

3. Victories/Challenges for the week.
I seem to finally have my food under control and I'm losing again. Yay!
