Good Morning. Looks like Seattle is the place to be

Not looking forward to the heat today and all through next week. Seattle looks like the coolest place to be today. I'll most likely stay inside and not get out and walk in this hot soup. Ugh!

It's ok here if you get out and get whatever done early.  But by noon it is deadly. 

No plans for the weekend which seems ok and strange. 

Brutal heat here as always this time of the year.  We're praying the tail end of Tropical Storm Don dumps some ran on us tomorrow.

Nawt Up to Kode:

Nice right now - just 68 degrees, but its supposed to heat up to 86 today and be humid.  Now, it was supposed to do that yesterday too and the highest I saw in the thermometer was 78, and the 2 days before... just barely into the low 70's.  So, we shall see what we get today. 

Looks like we had a rain shower go through.  Driveway, road and trees are wet.  Sunny now though. 

 i'm supposed to be singing today, was supposed to be an outside event, but it's supposed to rain all day, thunderstorms, so it will probably be moved to the town hall.  not as fun, or representative of the native way we are representing, but, oh well.  at least it's a gig.

tomorrow is supposed to be nice here, which is fantastic, because we are hosting our grandtwins 4th birthday party with a lot of small guests and their parents, along with some of our own family and friends.  it's going to be a busy day, which is great for me, being as it's the last weekend before surgery for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!  taking my mind off of things will be good.  

i'm anxious to get this life in gear!  i'm all ready, i think.  been taking long walks with the pup, doing great on my pre-op diet.  just glad the cleansing day isnt the same day as the party, lol.

hope everyone has a fabulous day today, and a safe and happy weekend!  i'll probably post before surgery on monday, but if i dont...

It's always hot and humid here in south Florida-like walking out into an oven.  Keeping water in the car doesn't work either because it can burn your tongue!
Outside it is supposed to be that way-the real headache is when the inside feels the same.  Two weeks ago I did a training and there was NO air conditioning (outside temp in the 90s!) for two and a half hours.  Yikes.  Welcome to the tropics.

At 10AM it's 83 already and working its way up to 95...  the one excellent factor about the Summer here in AZ is the Monsoon rains from July through August.  Around 1pm it's going to thunderstorm like hell and cool us all off just in time to watch the sun setting on the rain drop sparkling leaves (& windshields).  lol

No sense in putting on makeup this time of year.  Might as well go do laundry and pretend it's a sauna...

It is hot, hot, hot here too!!  It feels like an oven when you walk outside.  No relief in sight.  I think it is suppose to be really bad the first part of next week.

Got to get up early in the morning to do my walking - I waited too late last Saturday and got way too hot.

Hot and hazey here in OH, too! We always say it's like "bath water" but hot soup is a better description today! Yuk. I took the day off to spend some time with my daughter today and we got her nails painted and hair cut -- kind of a spa day and a good one to be inside.
