Sorry, those are calcium carbonate, which may lead you straight to kidney stones. You need calcium citrate. You can calcium in capsule form from Vitalady and those are pretty easy to swallow or dump the contents into a shake.

There is a liquid calcuim, or maybe it is powdered, you add to drinks. I like the chews but you can't do the viactiv ones, wrong kind of calcuim. I take pills now. CVS has a calcuim, D, mag that I use. They put it on sale freguently BOGO.
DO NOT think the scale is going to move every day or you will make yourself crazy. Yes, in the beginning you lose faster and sometimes it moves daily. But it is a horrible fickled creature that will drive you mad if you let it. Concentrate on protein, fluid, following your plan and the weight will come off. Promise.

Upcal D is another option....have to order it online though....I do some chewable (I like the lemon chews) and some with the upcal D powder. I hope to swallow calcium soon but they are BIG pills.
As far as the scale....Price is right!
I have gone back to weighing weekly......your weight can actually fluxuate a lot and NOT always in the right direction. Hopefully you will be a fast loser but for ME, there are MANY weeks where I don't lose an entire pound.
Good luck!

Just a word of advice...the BA chewable calcium aren't really meant to be chewed. If you suck on them they are much more tolerable!
No Vivactiv - that's calcium carbonate and you won't absorb it. Plus you will end up with kidney stones.
You've gotten some other good suggestions above. I like the Raspberry or Chocolate Calcium Chews from BA but they are a little pricey.

I'm not a big fan of chewable vitamins. They mostly taste funny to me and a lot of chewable calcium citrate pills are chalky.
I like the Calcet Creamy Bites (lemon flavor) and the caramel chews from BA. That's about it. LOL
