shopping NSV

So I went to Macy's last night -- not my normal thrift store trip for sure! My friend went along and we shopped so quickly it made my head spin. I needed an outfit for a reunion this weekend and ended up with white crop pants, a taupe flowy neck t shirt and a beautiful sheer/flowy shirt that ties in front -- just gorgeous! Best of all --- REGULAR sizes.... I am a "Missy" now!!! Size 16 pants and they are a little too big in the crotch but ok in the waist.

What a WOW... I could not believe the 18's were too big. I think I'm brave enough to post pictures now...so I will take some tomorrow night.

Did anybody have any fun shopping this week????

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!  I know how great this makes you feel.  I am staying FAR away from the mall because now I like EVERYTHING I try on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Before I used to try 10 things to buy 1. Now I try 10 things and I want to buy 10 : ) its an awesome feeling but it is getting VERY expensive.

Oh yeah I'm going to have to save some money before I make any other shopping plans!!! It's such a difference trying on clothes now.

I went to Victorias Secret this week and got 2 new bras - LOVE'EM!  I also bought 5 pairs of new panties and don't like them.. I'll be taking 4 back and see if I can exchange for a different style.  They rode up and gave me wedgies.  I thought I'd like the style...

Jody, I cant wait to get a bra at VS! I used to be so bummed going in there with friends and not being able to get anything. I have never had anything VS! It will be fun for sure.

I just got a 3/4 sleeve yellow striped shirt this afternoon from Belks for $3.49.  They were having a great sale today and tomorrow, but I'm trying to stay out of clothing stores for this month!!

I seriously need to stay away from the mall! I agree too, that I shouldn't even try things on, because I want EVERYTHING! I hope this phase ends soon becaue it sure is expensive.

I had 2 $10 coupons for JcPenney, and ended up buying two different dresses. One was a crystal embelished little black dress with an $80 tag that I got for $37. And the other sundress was originally tagged at $70, and I paid $28! It is so cute too! I also bought a few pair of Umbrielle undies that fit so good!

I am thankful my 19 year old daughter asked me to try them on for her (the dresses), because I got  to play dress up AGAIN!!! My goodness, like I said...... Hopefully this phase ends soon!

No shopping this week but beware, don't buy too much.  You will be too small to wear thos 16s way sooner than you think.  Check out the Thrift stores and save your money for when the real fun begins.
