His first words to me were. This surgery truly worked for you didn't it you look amazing. I actually took my daughter for a recheck from her cyst but he went ahead and fit me in to do my yearly so I didn't have to waist gas money to come back. Got to love Dr's that give you the time of day and take time to think about you!~. Good news is he was very proud of my progress. He charted my weight from last year turns out I am 9 lbs lighter than this month last year. I thought I had stablized and was the same as last year guess my coworkers were right. They told me I was still losing but I swore I was the same as last year.

The bad news was I have a cyst and endometriosis. He said he thought I had another hernia I needed to keep an eye on it. He said it could be mesh but he didn't like it with my history I needed to keep it checked. I have had some heavy periods just thought it was from surgery etc. He said if it got bothersome I could have a procedure done that is not invasive at all and would slow or stop my period. It isn't too bad right now but it is helpful to know if it gets bad there are options. Guess we will see. So this is the good news and the bad news for today~!~

Glad you have a good doc. Now, how did those 9 pounds slip by you without you noticing?

I'll be swinging lizards you don't have to go further with the other issues.

Oooo - I know where your 9 pounds went (memememememe).

I had a uterine ablation done about 10 or so years ago and LOVE it!!  My periods didn't stop, but they're MUCH lighter, TOM is easier, etc.  I highly recommend if it gets to that point.

Glad your appt went well.  It is always nice to have a Dr that listens and cares.

It is great to have a good doctor and one that realizes you are trying to improve your health.

Hope everything works out and you don't have to have another surgery.
