Wow, how fast a year can go by! Friday will be my one year anniversary. Got  my labs already. Still having iron issues and my thyroid is out of whack, no wonder I am the ice queen these days!LOL Cant be seen by my internist until August 3 and I dont think my bariatrician will give me any synthroid scripts, but I am hoping for an iron infusion.
Any words of advice?

Your TSH is definitely low. It needs to be under 3.0, if not 2.5,  for effective weight loss. Maybe, they should check the other thyroid components such as, T3/T4, FTI.

Hgb is low. Iron infusions would be great.

No wonder you are cold; low thyroid, low iron. I went through that last Fall and was freezing cold all the time. Iron infusions and increasing my thyroid medication both helped.

Your PTH and calcium don't look bad a t all. I'm thinking your D3 will be pretty good.

If the potassium is trending down and near the low end of the range, you may want to ask about a script for potassium. If not a script, ask what would be a safe dose of OTC potassium.

If you'd like to bring the ALT down a bit, you could try milk thistle. I take 2 - 300mg capsules in the morning and evening. You might want to try 1 - 300mg capsule instead of 2 morning and evening.

Your protein and albumin look great.

B12 is fine and it's ok to be up near 2000. No worries.

You might want to have them add vitamin A and zinc to your list next time. Wouldn't hurt to have thiamine (B1) checked as well.

I hope you're able to get an iron infusion as well. Once you do get an infusion, you can keep taking your Proferrin. Good luck!

Thanks Guys!

Gina, does the milk thistle only come in capsules? Just want to make sure I get the right form.
Do I need to separate it from calcium or iron?

I've never gone looking for tablet milk thistle, so I dunno. I get it from Vitalady or VitaminShoppe. It doesn't have to be taken separately, I just take it in with my big batch of vitamins.

You can take Proferrin with calcium! That helps a lot with getting it all in...
