How'd that happen?

I've been very strategic as I've lost sizes and hit clearance sales to get super buys.  Even when I was still a size 14 or 16, I bought smalls because the buys were that good and I figured I'd get there eventually.

So I had a dresser drawer holding the clothes that I was waiting to shrink into.  I realized this morning that I hadn't checked my drawer in a few weeks.  I pulled out a nice pair of black slacks, size 8, and they're too big!  Somehow I went pretty much from a size 10 straight to a 6.

I shopped yesterday, and the other things I bought were also mostly a size 6 with one skirt being an 8.  I'm not going overboard on buying because I know I'm not done yet.  I just got a few things to get me through a few trips.

Yep, it happens! lol  I went from a 12 to an 8 and then straight to 6 and some 4s. Craziest roller coaster ride I've ever been on.

oh pleeeeease let this be me too!  I've dropped to a "fat" 12, or a small 14, and seem to be hovering there.  And I have all these WONDERFUL 8s that some great friend gave me..... they're just crying to me from the closet....

It is a crazy ride. I was barely in 8's, then 6's, and then 4's. When I hit 2's and 0's, it was really difficult to wrap my head around it. The kicker was when I bought a Girl's size 14 pair of 9.99 jeans at Target. THAT blew my mind. The only reason I even tried them on, is that people were telling me to try Girl sizes, since Petite 2's were getting too large.

The further down you get, the sizes seem to move more quickly. Also, the inches seem to melt off, especially if you are exercising and doing strength training.

You aren't anywhere near finished, so conserv during your shopping trips. Pants are the most unforgiving, tops and sweaters I can still wear.

I am 4'll" so we have similar stats.

I spent way to much money on the way down and someone probably got some almost new clothes at the goodwill.  I was just so excited!!

Keep some of the smaller ones for bounce back.  I can still wear 2's but prefer the comfort of the 4's.

Kim, congratulations on the 6's.  I skipped 12 completely.  I thought I was finished and bought a lot of 8's - now I can get into some 6's.  I think mine is redistributing some making me able to wear a smaller size because I haven't really lost any more pounds.

i just got home from a pony club camp where they had a trade fair.  I thought I should get some breeches while there were several dealers there and I could try them on.  I told the salesman I hadn't ridden in years and had no idea what size I was, they come in weird sizes.  the guy suggested I try childrens after asking me how tall I was.  So I ended up with a children's large.  Really??????  REALLY !!!!!!
