AWE....walking will help more than anything.   GasX might help.  A warm bath or a warm water bottle might help some too. Can you get your DH to massage your back?  Have him start real low and then work his way up your back.  Maybe warm broth.

Take very small sips so you don't swallow any more air.

Ditto to what Roz has said. Walking as much as you can will help tremendously too. Good Luck!

Get the gasx strips and you might have to melt 5-6 in a row to get relief. One or two never did it for me,but 6 would. Also, try a warm heating pad on the gassy area...hot air rises.
good luck,
Holly

Walking and STRETCHING... any way you can move your body around so that the gas works itself out.  Keep burping and tooting and it'll be gone before you know it and you'll forget it was even there.

Glad you're home! Yes I can sympathize with you about the gas.  Moving around helped tremendously.  Warm showers helped me as well as rocking back and forth in my chair.    The rocking back and forth may sound silly but for me it worked wonders.  Hope you're finding today to be easier and less gassy.

My nurse friend told me to lie on my left side.  It definitely brings me relief!
