B12 shots or sublingual?
I take the B-12 shot monthly. I go to the doc's office to get it as a walk in. Could not stomach the sublingual for some reason, that is why I switched. Made me nauseaus.
I feel an immediate response to the B-12 shot. It makes me feel more energetic, and sunnier. I know when it's time for another. My insurance pays for it.
Good luck. I've also heard that some like the nasal spray, I think it's daily.

Shots are way cheaper if you do your own. Mine, at weekly, run about $2.15 for 3 months, 12 shots. I buy the syringes on line for about 6/$1
I bought it without insurance one time and even with no insurance, at Costco, it was only $7 for a bottle of 30 shots.

If I get rx, I get via my mail order service.
When my doc was not up on the "over 800 studies", he wrote for every other week. We bought the B complex from veterinary supply. So, we did B12 and Bplex every other week, each.
The vet stuff is the same lab as the rx B12. But it includes all the B's, which is good news for awhile, but the B6 can just climb and climb. Our doc finally got up to date and writes for weekly shots now. We used 1/2cc of the B plex for awhile and then a friend needed it, so we just do the rx weekly now.
If you cannot get rx written, we used www.calvetsupply.com or www.jefferspets.com for the B complex, though a local feed store will have it. Do not use their vites A and D shots!
I get syringes usually at www.allegromedical.com . The other places carry them, but were out of stock so often I just go to allegro. 3ml 25g 1"

I wouldn't consider the shots unless the sublingual wasn't working. Mine works and it doesn't bother me at all.

I do shots, 2 times a month. The sublingual make my body unhappy. I give my own shots or have someone do it. Now that I am thnner---I confess I think they hurt and I bruise. Didnt have that issue before. Whimpy I know! I think its a personal decision and my Dr's only questioned me when I asked the first time.
