I had a blood test for a physical required by my job the other day - It came back that I had reactive hypoglycemia !
Mind U I didnt tell the doc a THING about my surgery ...
hmmm scary ...
also LDH ? is that low levels of good cholesterol or something ?
otherwise im ( relatively ) healthy as a horse ( except for my asthma situation of course ) .. so now what ?
What can possibly be done about reactive hypogylcemia except to eat more ?

LDL is the bad cholesterol, artery clogging. HDL is the good kind, artery clearing. I remember by thinking HDL is the "happy" kind. There are ratios that are important, too.
I don't have diabetes any more, but I try to eat something every three hours or so. That keeps me even. I had 4 cherries and about 1/4 c. yoghurt before I went to the gym this morning. That seems to be enough. Then a protein iced decaf coffee later.
I'm at a crappy stall, but I feel better if I spread my food out over the day. Trying not to let volume creep in. It's getting tougher as I am almost 8 months out.
You take good care of yourself, so I know you'll find a way to cope with this new thing.
