That sounds great. I bet it would be really good with my homemade strawberry/Greek yogurt smoothie mix. They would make great Popsicles! Now you can get real creative.

hey koko,
that sounds good. I have tried the greek yogurt as part of my pre-op tasting trial......
I DID NOTTTTT LIKE IT. I did buy 2 more containers from the store last week. Going to try with some sf pudding or whatever that I can mix with it.

Getting info written down in my food tablet of likes and dislikes/what I like now and going to try the same after surgery to see if my taste buds still like it.

Still waiting for approval. Not too long to go because this month will soon be over.can you believe it?

THE KIDS ARE GOING TO SCHOOL NEXT MONTH!!!!!

0 fat 0 sugar Greek yogurt is indeed too tart for my tastes too.  Here's some ideas I've collected from other WLS people of things to mix with Greek Yogurt to make it way more bettah!  It's too high in protein to pass up, if you ask me.  ;-)

1.  Sweeten with Agave nectar and add blueberries and walnuts

2.  Cottage Cheese, garlic powder and fresh parsley (or cilantro)

3.  Grapenuts (with sweetener if desired)

4.  Cinnamon almonds (w/sweetener if desired)

5.  Fruits  (S/F berry applesauce is great mixed together)

6.  Salsa and/or refried beans

7.  Tzatziki sauce, add dry ranch dressing, shredded cheese, eat with low carb chips or use as extra creamy dressing for salads or meats

8.  Frozen fruits blended w/sweetener or protein powder to taste.  Top w/nuts

9.  Granola

10. Splenda (or Stevia) and cinnamon

11. DaVinci (or Torani) sugarfree syrups

12. Reddi Whip and Smuckers low sugar preserves

13. Legal Cheesecake = 1 lg. container Fage Total 0% Greek yogurt, 1 pkg. jello instant pudding cheesecake flavor, 1/2 C. Skim Milk and mix in the container.  Add a little more sweetener or DaVinci Hazlenut syrup.  20 gms Proteiin  150 cals and ~ 15 carbs.  Top with Comstock No Sugar Added Cherry Pie Filling.  Can put it in a graham cracker crust for parties.

14.  Mix yogurt half/half with mayo to make egg or chicken or tuna salad, or use it anywhere you'd use sour cream

15.  Any flavor S/F instant pudding that you like.  A little pudding mix goes a long way and only has to sit together for 5 minutes.  Adding a bit of milk may help because the texture can be really thick.

Hope these ideas help it move to your "really liked" list.  :-))

So how does it work?  Do you put it in the freezer?  Sounds like it may be easier than the ice cream maker I got.
