Just for fun Friday!
Happy Friday everyone!!!!! First I want to let everyone know this will be my last "Just for fun" Friday post for awhile. Daughter is at 1.5 cm dialated. She goes back to the Drs on Monday (If she doesnt go into labor before that) to discuss inducing or riding it out.
We also are in the process of moving. We bought/building a new modular home. The basement is complete. The home manufacturer gave us a tentative completion date of next Friday. The new home is going on the same property we live now. So once we get word that the home is being delivered/set, we have to disconnect our utilities for a few days to get hook up to the new home.
We was hoping to be in the new home before the Grandson came, but it looks like Mother Nature has her own plans. No stress here lol
Anyway......... If anyone wants to jump in and take over the "Just for Fun" posts, you have my blessing.
OK...... on to this weeks questions..........
1.) Do you play any musical instruments?
2.) Do you have any talents/ wish you had a certain talent?

1.) Do you play any musical instruments? No, the only thing I can play is the radio :)
2.) Do you have any talents/ wish you had a certain talent? No, I dont. I wish I could decorate cakes. That always interested me. However cake (both in batter form & baked) is a weakness of mine. So its probably better if I just stay away from it.
3.) Victories/Struggles this week? Victories - I bought yet another smaller size in capris. This blows my mind since I have been in the maintenance stage for months now. Struggles - Been under alot of stress and my eating isnt as it should be.
4.) Plans for the weekend? Finish packing and on "baby watch"

Hi Cindy! Wow - congrats on all your life events happening now! It seems just like yesterday you told us your daughter was pregnant.. how time flies. I'm swinging critters all goes well, easy, safe and happy delivery! Oh - and on the house - WOOHOO!! I'm thinking of doing the same thing...
Oh - and I can pick the "Just for Fun" posts for you.
1. I played the piano and saxaphone when growing up. Haven't really done much with the piano lately and haven't touched the sax since high school.
2. Talents? Hmmm... No, can't say I do, nor have I really ever thought about it. I know once people start responding I'll go "yea... I want to do that too" LOL.
3. Stuggle: Went to my daughters' and left my vitamins, makeup, personal stuff at home. Had a grouchy pouch because of no Prevacid. Victory: Almost have my paperwork done for the new job... whew - its exhausting! I've enjoyed my time off and now wish I'd said I'd start the beginning of Sept, but I'm glad to have this opportunity.
4. Going to a gun show, otherwise I don't know. Tom asked if I wanted to do anything special.. hmm.. I have to think about that. Maybe I'll get out the festival book and see what's going on.

Ill swing some farm animals for U ! A raw -milk "not for human consumption " cow ( Im FASCINATED by this ... does this rule also apply to goat milk ?) ... a few nasty squirrels who
ve been scarfng down my ripe produce ( theyll be FLUNG FAR I hope ) and the wily German - Shepherd size opossum if I ever manage to catch him ....
hes gonna be a world record GRRLS ... U now those pictures of the proud hunter standing next to ... whatever lifted up by a forklift ... well wait for the headlines .. WORLD LARGEST WADDLING OPOSSUM CAUGHT IN BROOKLYN !!!!!!
I just hope when I put the plastic trash can on im .. ( its waiting at the ready by the garden ... in case I catch him there sleeping 
unawares ) ... he doesnt CHEW through it to my unsuspecting AZZZ before wildlife control can get there ... ( In NYC it takes HOURS )
1.) Do you play any musical instruments? Nope but I COULD sing great as a little grrl . My audition song was Grace Slicks White Rabbit ... and I had absolutely NO CLUE what the words meant but every music teacher ran to the back of the auditorium and cast me as the lead in whatever . THEN they discovered I couldnt sing on KEY to save my life ... oy that I had no tape recorder or even boom box to help me learn or parents willing to buy me one ... it was a lot of pressure and a lot of problems especially at home .
My parents never came to any of my performances they considered school musicals and plays "boring " . But being on stage made me somewhat popular despite my ridiculous clothes and being overweight ... in a way that competitive sports really didn't . It was always my dream to actually be a child performer but of course I had noone willing to take me to auditions ... it was very saddening to see those years go buy and options close for no good reason ..and my talent and drive and energy be wasted ...
2.) Do you have any talents/ wish you had a certain talent? I'm really glad I have a gift for painting . Would U guys like to see ? This is my self- taught work - I've never actually had an art class except the minimum requirement in high school . I won a national art prize with a painting I made there ... but my parents refused to go see the exhibit even i though it was in our hometown . Anyway I could never finish this painting because I don't know enough ... but I painted it from life in Mexico City quite a few years ago . One great sadness and frustration every day of my life is that I don't paint and sculpt more ...

this was done in Ocean Groveset up across th street looking at the house . 2 hours a day when the light was right for about a week . As U can see i never finished the foreground though the guy and that dog are still walking around lol ...
3.) Victories/Struggles this week? Been a very difficult week income -wise ,pressure wise and marriage wise . Honestly I think I want to get OUT but its not the right time ... I need to start showing up for myself in so many different arenas ...
4.) Plans for the weekend? Looking at more houses . Arranging financing .
I am SOO sick of this ... and so heartsick that WHATEVER we buy will be miserable compared to what we had under contract which my husband screwed up ( deliberately ?) .. . My husband only likes houses I hate that do not suit my needs at all . Im ready to just let him pick one ... because obviously there will be no house until he gets his way .

Not now. As a child I played the voilin, until my teacher found me chasing a boy holding the violin by the throat, ready to smack him.
2.) Do you have any talents/ wish you had a certain talent?
I'm a spinner and weaver although I don't really weave anymore. I do still knit. I also think my carriage driving is a talent.

Even with my "normal" eating over my trip whi*****luded bites of sweets and more carbs than when I am home, the scale went down. And I bought size 6p pants, woo hoo.
Struggles, I did overeat while gone. I knew I was doing it and did it anyway. Didn't get sick (maybe that would actually help deter me) but was uncomfortable. I've got to disect this and see what I can do to overcome this before it gets to be a habit.

My new computer comes today so I'm looking forward to being faster on line and working. Nothing much on Sat but Sunday I'm meeting friends at a horse show for Gypsy Vanners.
