I wish I had made a written list.  I kind of had a mental list of some of the things I used to do that I would like to be able to do again.

I would still love to water ski again - just need to get to the water with a friend that has a boat and skis and I think I could accomplish this.  The last time I tried, the boat would hardly pull me out of the water and it was so embarassing.

I want to do more 3K & 5K's.

Great job Mara!!!

Linda,

I had to laugh when I read your post.  Many years ago I worked as a camp counselor.  I was at my thinnest, but by no means normal weight and I hadn't had my breast reduction yet so I was quite top heavy.  The counselors got the opportunity to  water ski each week and were given 3 tries to get up.  After that, you had to get back into the boat.
Well,  I ALWAYS fell down and had to get back in the boat every time.  But, as I recall, my boobs were great flotation devices but weighed me down when I tried to pull myself into the boat. Soooo embarrassing then but awfully funny in hindsight.  Thanks for making me laugh at the memory!

That's great that you have a list to keep you focused. I've been over weight for 6 years actually about 5,that's when I noticed a change in my weight. I've been able to do alot and don't have a list of want to's becasue I could'nt.

This is my reward list...

1.First 20 pounds lost, thigh high boots(I have several now but this gives me reason to buy another pair).
2. Helicopter ride 50 pounds lost.
3. Buy more heels every 15 pounds lost

My reasons list....
1. I WANT THE EXTRA 80-90 POUNDS OFF because I'm not use to seeing myself this way.
2. To not have joint pain.
3. To be healthy again.
4. To be the sexy chick I use to be 5 years ago. I'm cute in my clothes..but I want sexy again.
5. Get out of these XL,1x and size 16 clothes.
6. To rid the hypothyroidism and the pills with steroids!!! This is what made me gain weight.
I have no problems with food,it's the dag nabit meds.

I know what i'm doing,I have it all planned-plans to give you the future you hope for.Jeremiah 29:11(The Message)
