 We CAN  all  eat more than we NEED  .   that  unfortunately never goes away.  

The surgery  helps  curb the hunger  ..but if  U eat  to quell boredom  like I do or  just to occupy Ur mouth or Ur hands  ..or to " taste "  something ...  or  to run away from a feeling  into overfullness...  watch out ... 

I may need to get my butt back to OA ..

Ditto to everything everyone said above, plus, when in your life have you ever lost 23 lbs in 6 weeks???? That is GREAT!!!!!

You don't feel full, because the nerves have been cut. Just measure your food and you won't stretch anything. Your weight loss will go up and down and will slow down after the first few months. People have stalls along the way. Just try to roll with it, follow your plan, and the weight will come off. Your NUT did tell you how much to eat: 2 ozs of protein at each meal.

Hang in there!!!! You will lose weight.
