First seminar tonight

Are you going to GHP? That's where I went....I had doctor Foot for a surgeon and I liked him very much..he made my pouch very small though. Anyway, I thought the seminar was helpful but you will really learn a lot more once you start going to the appointments..

Yes I went to GHP, I am requesting Dr Kemmenter there be my surgeon.  Dr Nagle did the seminar, was very informative. People there asked good questions, mostly what I asked in here but a few new ones too which was good.

Sure makes decisions tougher but I still think DS is best for me.  Would like to hear what the Docs have to suggest

Dr. Kemmenter is very nice..he did my mom's surgery, Dr. Nagle was my husbands surgeon..he attempted to do the DS but was unable to complete it in one surgery so he ended up with just the sleeve...for now, it was like only his third surgery total..you will find that the doctors pretty much leave it up to you as to which surgery you want....Personally, im a fan of the DS just because its the most successful, I couldn't have it done under my insurance because my bmi wasn't high enough but I know my husband can't waIt until they are able to do the second part..anyway, hope you choose the one that works best for you..

Hope the seminar went well. My hubby went to mine too. I wanted him to learn too what this journey was all about.

Ok, seminar is done,  I have my first Internist apt Aug 1st :-) and I asked to be put on the Fast Track List.


Also I did have some people ask in private messages about GHP doing DS on lightweights.  I asked that question yesterday and the answer is YES they do and they vary the length of the common channel for lightweights verses heavy weights.
