Thanks for this Gina. My insurance company denied covering my Proferrin and it will cost me $140 out of pocket for the SAME dosage, type and number of pills I can get from Vitalady for $53.
BUT - now because of reading this, I'm going to call and appeal to the insurance company to pay for it because of my low numbers. I'll see what it will take to do that.
I know there are a lot of questions regarding insurance denials and this is a good one to file away for the future.
