NSV...I think

I'm not sure what a NSV is but I think I had one. Friday, My hubby and I took the kids to a amusement park and not only was I able to walk around the entire park without slowing down too much, but I was able to get on rides that I haven't been on since Jr. High School. I got on the swing! I tried to get on the same ride last year and my hips were too big to sit in the swing. It was embarrassing. But this time, I got on it with no problem. I was so happy that we rode it again! I also caught great sales in the outlet mall and have some clothes to start work. My hubby went crazy with the shopping. He made me get new everything until I reminded him of our checking account. :0) Thanks for letting me share this. No one else understands like you guys. It's a great feeling to do things again that you haven't been able to for years.

Absolutely great non-scale victories! The little things still thrill me every day: feeling a hip bone, having room in a chair for the dog to sit beside me, shopping at Costco, etc, etc.

You are doing great and celebrating each new thing is a way to keep reinforcing new good habits.

Rock on!
