Your ferritin is your stored iron and is a little low. You could start now with Bifera if you just want to pick some up at Walgreens. Walgreens is the only place I know that carries it in a regular store. Bifera is heme iron and polysaccharide iron combo.
Everything else looks pretty good. You will want them to add vitamin A and your other B vitamins. in fact, you could start on a B-complex now as well.

That was for the Traverse City Mi office which is where I was going to go at first till I found out they don't do DS surgery there.
Thats when I decided from reading here to do my seminar at the Grand Rapids Mich location. When I talked with Cathy there the RN she told me not to bring anything the other place wanted except for any labs they may have asked for so that when this place orders labs they don't repeat was was recently done.
So thats all I have for now.
I did get my D3, protein and the bifera from Walgreens today and again I appreciate all the info everyone has.
This is like a college course but in a much shorter time LOL

Im just glad im a fast learner. Taking vitamins 5-6 times a day really makes you think about things even more so. You go though that boy I don't know if its worth it process then you come back to reality when your uncomfortable from sitting, or walking, putting my fat boy pants on so I feel comfortable.
I was talking with my Endo today cause my thyroid levels even though normal are not where I feel good at, 4.5 to 4.7 is my happy zone, not 2.9, but they asked how I was doing and I told them you tell me? Im making fat faster than I make urine, Boy did that put them into histerics LOL They said they never hear that line before,, so at least I humored them for the day :-)
You may want to write down MacMadame's other lab suggestions and take it with you to your dr's appointment, just in case they want to run another set, then you can ask them to add it to the list. They may say "this is all we need" but you can argue the point you want a baseline to compare to after surgery.

Actually Vitalady has a list of everything (AND the codes) for the DS AND the Distal RNY/ERNY so he doesn't have to recreate the wheel.
It's located here: Labs & Targets
