so i am about 2 months out and i am hearing rumbling in the left said of my stomach...is this common? or have i sprung a leak?...i figured i would gather some opinions before i called the drs office. doesn't sound like digestion (sounds like that is in my pouch) but definitely making noises! or maybe it is my intestines?
You can't really spring a leak this far out. Our staple line is pretty much fully healed by 1 month out. (When people discover a leak farther out, it turns out it was there all along.)
Also, gurgling is not a symptom of a leak. The main symptoms of a leak are (1) fever and (2) unexplained and severe pain.
Gurgling post-op is quite common especially early out. Also, our stomach is actually just under the breastbone. What we call our "tummy" is actually our intestines -- as you suspect.

It's probably very normal. I had lots of rumbleing all over for quite a while. You would be very sick if it were a leak and that isn't at all likely this far out.

Mine talks to me all the time but the loudest trigger is V8 juice for some odd reason...it just goes to town when I have that.
