Good Morning. Just talking to be talking

Happy birthday to the little one.

I've had my grandchildren and daughter around since the end of March when I first went to Alberta to help with the family and then they came to Ontario 2 months ago so I could continue to help. My daughter is now feeling pretty good most of the time and feels she can go back home and manage her household. It was crazy awful with her morning sickness lasting so long.

Today I am feeling blah but I am due to get my period so it's no wonder when I ran this morning I ran out of steam and ended up walking the last 2k. When I run again on Saturday I'll be fine I'm sure.

Today we talk to our financial advisor as my hubby retired a month ago
I made some banana muffins for the grandchildren
Will probably go to the park and pool with the grandchildren this afternoon
Drinks with friends tonight- my once a week glass of wine that I allow myself.

I think when the grandchildren leave I'll have to do some major organizing around here so I don't think I'll feel like the house is empty.

Good morning. I bet you have so much fun with your granddaughter. My daughter is 2 1/2, and is an only grandchild, so needless to say she is very well taken care of, and loved. She even has an extra grandma my husbands aunt whose kids can't or dont want kids. We are very lucky to only be stationed about 2 hours from them, so they get lots of kid time.

I'm ready to get going on my pre-op diet. I already know I will eat a bad lunch today. I have a company FRG ( family support group, for soldiers families) meet up at a pizza restaurant. I have been eating like1 bad meal a day. I know I need to do better, I have just been feeling like I am never going to eat again. How do I get this feeling out of my head? I only have about a week and a half till my pre-op diet starts. It's coming up soon.

Other than going to lunch we may go to the park, depending how hot it is. It has been over 100 here all the time. I don't like takngmy daughter out in the heat to much, she is just like her mama and gets red and flushed really fast.

Hi Gina,
Tell her Happy Birthday for me!!  Grandbabies are the most fun ever!!!  I would like to have another little one(grandbaby of course) around.  DD is not having anymore and DS and his wife said they were waiting until DGD#1 is a little older(maybe 3-4).  When they come to the house sometimes we have to do pedicures and they always want their toe nails painted.

Glad you got some good sleep.  I hate it when I can't sleep.  I get so grumpy.  Working today and we have a board meeting this afternoon - I hope it is a short one, but it is 45 minutes away so we have to drive to it and back.  I need to be working on the year end at work and closing things out, but have not had a chance to do any of it yet.

Grandbabies are so fun!  Our youngest is 6 weeks and being baptized on Sunday.  We're hosting a reception afterwards at the house.  I told DS to tell everyone with kids to bring swimsuits.  Having bored kids in the pool is better than bored whiny kids in the house. 

I'm glad you got caught up on your sleep. I'm a bear when I'm running low on sleep.

Today is mostly work for me.  We have some friends who had a baby yesterday.  Momma was tiny and had a very rough time.  Momma and baby are doing well today.  DH & I will be visiting the family in the hospital after work.

 I have 4 grand daughters and the 2 year old is my baby.  I took care of her when she was born and we really bonded.  She is also a little monster but I can't get mad at her.  The other night I was watching them and I kept putting her to sleep and she kept getting right out of bed.  Didn't even pretend to listen.  I chased after her all night.  Mommy came home with her on the couch and me begging her not to get up.  She plays me like a fiddle.
I need to go out there to see them but my daughter is off Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I am busy on those days.
to do list never gets done so I don't bother.  I did get down to the DMV and get my car registered, with one day to spare.  Always laundry to catch up with.  Shopping should be caught up with for the time being.
