You will definately not see any beef heart on my menu...shudder,lol. Day 2 of 5 day pouch test. I was more crav-ey today than yesterday but just kept drinking

 Beef Heart is delicious, and I am someone who cant even eat liver or any of that other gross stuff.

Remember steaks are cow muscles. The heart is the purest cut of muscle possible on the animal's body. It's very high protein, low marbling, easily digested by my sleeve. Love it.


Venison is not common on my menu at all. Friend of my hubby is cleaning out his freezer to make room for fall hunting I imagine. :-)

Ended my day with shrimp, yummm.

We love venison...can't wait for hunting season but we only eat the backbone and we fry it so that counts down on how healthy it is.  I'm not quite sure about the heart though...lol.  Maybe if I didn't know what it was.
