Well I am surviving. Missing my dog but arm is getting a little better. Pain is getting more bearable. We took the bandages off yesterday. Seems my 3 little holes I was expecting are actually are 4 holes on my shoulder and a 5 in*****ision in my arm pit..OUCH! Stitches and steri-strips.  Emotionalness seems to have been tied to PMS now flowing like crazy. Crankiness has subsided and carb monster has been stopped dead in it's tracks.  Having really bad hair days because I am really right handed and can not seem to fix it. DD doesn't have a clue how to use a curling iron. DH is going to pick me up a curling brush today. Hopefully brighter days and better hair days are ahead of me. Son has allstar ball tournament this weekend. I hope that I can bear being in public by then...heat, humidity, people, etc. Keep the prayers coming. I know they have gotten me this far. Hugs and thankfullness... Danielle

PS.. DH took MIL to the cancer doctor today..pray for a good report. He is definately a saint he puts up with a lot from both of us.
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

Still swinging lizards for you, Sweetie. Go ahead and lean on your DH. He's a big guy and can take it. Get well and let everyone else take care of themselves.

One day at a time!!!! Swinging for you and MIL today, too. My cousin had shoulder surgery and got a shoulder ice pump (google it) and it worked wonders. They are $150 or so.

Take care!

Danielle - still sending those prayers up for you and swinging critters.

I like the idea of a ice pump.  When Tom had his shoulder surgery (and had I known about it) I would have gotten him one.  The ice pack thing is important, and whatever you can do to make it easier - than do it!

Wear a hat... or I used to wear sunvisors when I was having bad hair - it kinda pushed it up and made it look like the wind messed it up...
