Congratulations!  What a tremendous feat!  My husband runs it every year and I PROMISED him I'd join him this year but unfortunately he had to take call at the hospital this weekend so we didn't make it into Atlanta....hopefully I'll be there next year!

WOOHOO!!!  YOU GO, GIRL!!!  it was so stinking hot!!!  it was so tough!!!  my time was 1:24:25.  they said that because of the humidity, it was the hottest race in several years!  i'm so glad i did it and can't wait to try again next year!!!

so proud of you!!!  just can't believe it.....this time last year ii never would have thought i'd do the peachtree!!  loving my RNY!!

It was very very hot!!!  I enjoyed running under the water.  I can't wait until next year either.  I'm sore today, but not too bad.

i had an issue while walking back to the marta station.....my legs started to have little cramps but i kept walking.....i went to step up on a sidewalk and my right leg locked up!  couldn't move it at all!!!  i mean it was frozen!  a cramp hit and i couldn't move my leg at all!  a really kind man stopped and i held his forearm and it took all my weight on that leg to break it loose!  he told me to finish the bottle of powerade i was holding and that helped it.....but there for a few minutes i thought i'd surely be a new fixture on that atlanta street!  the leg has been really sore since then but that's the only issue i had.  my sister says that the cramps were caused by dehydration....but who knows......

but....all in all.....it was a great day and can't wait to do it again next year!!!

you did a great job!!!  so proud of you!  i got kind of emotional thinking about where i was physically this time last year!!  oh my.......who woulda thunk it!!!
