 thanks for sharing part of your story with me.  i really think it helps me, hearing about other peoples experiences after surgery- whatever surgery it was.  great job of the loss so far!  and, having no fibro flares... well THAT would be so wonderful if it happened for me!

i'll be keeping my eye open for updates on you!  sounds like you are doing pretty well.

I had type two diabetes. They started testing my blood sugar before I was fully conscious after surgery and it was in normal range. My last batch of test strips is about to expire and I don't know if I'll renew. I see my PCP 7/13 for my physical. This is the first time I will be happy to be weighed in my entire life.

This board is about support, not competition and negativity. No matter how much you have to lose and keep off, it is hard work and we all know it. Why make it harder for anyone?

Welcome Jenny!  This is definitely a great home-base here on OH.  Lots of support without any of the judgements!

 thanks, lee, for the welcome!  no judgements is the way i need to go, thats for sure.  got enough stress on my plate without others adding to it!

 lol, ruthie.  we need our angels, thats for sure.  us sensitive souls need our backs to be watched, sometimes.  good thing there are good ones watching out for the newbies!

Hi Jenny!   I agree that we need our backs watched but I don't know about being a sensitive soul...  I had jumped right in with both feet and was swingin'!
