Great job Liz! I am stuck at 144.6 now for the past 3 or maybe 4 weeks...only a couple of pounds away from goal...so frustrating, not sure what to do, I have upped my protein to greater than 80 grams, lowered my carbs to 50 or less per day...still only get around 800 calories but I don't think I can eat anymore...I am exercising on a regular basis..err!!

Maybe up your protein even higher? I know many do 100-120 grams per day. Your stall will break, just be patient.

I'm stuck in the 148-146 range for the last month...and my next goal is ONLY a few lbs away, 145.3 (that will put me at a NORMAL BMI) and the one after that is 145 which is the lowest weight I've been as an adult. So I understand.

I think I might switch to reporting Saturday weigh ins.  I often go out for dinner on Saturdays, and experience a temporary blip up on Sunday mornings.  I don't eat that much more but I cannot control for salt.  I will think about it.

Monday 6/27  221.2
Sunday  7/3    219.2  (been here for 4 days)

Loss = 2 lbs   (I'm 11 days out from surgery)  (this concerns me a bit)

The scale goes away today.  I'm getting a little too obsessed.

Hoping my weight loss will speed up a bit when I'm able to get more protein in me and start exercising.

Carrie, this is really normal - it takes a while for the fluids from the surgery to be eliminated. The scale will get moving before you know it.

Carrie, don't be worried.  Most folks gain water weight after surgery and so you had to lose that again before starting on your real weight.  You are doing fine.  Concentrate on fluids and protein and you will lose plenty.

Thank you Price!  I think I had heard that some where but had forgotten!!
Thanks for reminding me.   I rely on you all so much to keep me on track.  Thank goodness for the kindness of the LW board.  I cannot say it enough.
