What was your favorite NSV lately?
Great posts. I love to read about victories that we all have.
I have actually had several this week. Went shopping and found some great deals at Christopher Banks - they have racks for 9.99. I got several tops/jackets 2 skirts. The blue jean skirt was a size 4!!!!
Tuesday morning I got up and walked 6.2 miles in 1 hour and 45 minutes I was so happy I was able to finish this and know that it was possible.
I've started going to Zumba and really love it. I tried the DVD's but they are not nearly as much fun as attending the classes.

I work a short sleeved suit to work yesterday. It is one of the oldest items in my closet. I'm not sure why a kept it when I was 85 pound heavier, but I did. I got so many compliments on that outfit. Everyone at work, even the men, told me I looked so skinny! I know I'm really not that thin, but relative to where I was 9 months ago, I am.
I had a business trip this week. I've been flying since week 3, but this week it just hit me. Out of habit, I extend the seat belt to its longest length then buckle and tighten it down. I only had to ask for an extension once in my heavier days, but it was mortifying. I mean I couldn't get that whole thing around my hips and belly. I too great pleasure on all 4 flights looking and how little seat belt is needed to get around my hips and tummy this days. I still extend the seat belt to the max. I get a little thrill out of seeing the lose end get longer and longer.

Mine's small but very special to me. I hadn't seen my 21 yr old daughter for two months. She's bipolar and had gone off the radar and was living in her car. We finally got a hold of her and brought her home safe and sound. She actually told me I looked great. For her to recognize changes when she is in such a fragile state felt wonderful! It means I'm looking good (that's the NSV) but it also means she's aware of things-and that's the best news of all.

Mrs. M, what a lovely NSV. Dealing with Bi-polar Disorder is so hard so I hand it to you!
I had two this past week.....I should post more so am glad this thread got started and I could join in.
Last Saturday I jogged 1.5 miles straight at the gym......never have done this in my life before and I was thrilled.......my first physical goal was to be able to run a mile straight so this makes me very happy!
Tuesday at work I wore a short sleeved shirt....last week MANY people commented on my "looking thinner".....I don't love the attention but am handling it well and appreciate it when people are especially kind to me. On Tuesday though, the housekeeper who works in my area commented on it and then one of the veterans in the nsg home also stopped me and said I was losing a lot of weight. It made me smile that he noticed and wanted to point it out to me.

I love reading these NSV's!!
A week ago I walked 15.5 miles in 105.6 degree heat. It cooled down to 104 at around 8pm. The walk was from noon to midnight. I just tracked my daily miles on vacation.
The NSV that really hit me was practically running up 35 flight high ramps, then the stairs to the top of the cathedral belltower to look out over Sevilla, Spain. When I got to the top, I knew I could run back down and up again with no trouble. For me, that was greater than any number on the scale, because it determines my fitness level.
I guess reaching WW Lifetime status this week was pretty big too.

Strange NSV, but gratifying....
I've been putting my bigger clothes in bags, and giving them away a little at a time to people who actually will wear the items. (This is gratifying in itself to be able to help someone else) Friday night I gave away the last of the 18s and the 16s.... but the NSV was that I gave away all the 14 and 12 tops too. As I'm handing over the shirts, asking "Do you like this one?" I'm seeing just how BIG they would be on my frame.
