Ferritin update

I went and got a copy of my labs
Ferritin 3        Normal is 11 to 307
Iron 44              40-150
UIBC  522       255-450
Iron saturation 8        20-50
Total Protein is 6.9
Vitamin B12 433
These are some that were high or low several still pending any suggestions would be helpful to me

Those numbers are crappy!!!  Sorry for the bluntness, but honesty is always the best policy I say...LOL!

What iron supps are you taking?

Yes I feel crappy! Until yesterday i was taking only one Proferrin a day now i'm taking two. The weird thing is that the only thing my Dr said was that my Ferritin was low and to take 5000mcg of Dry d3. Here is what i take daily.
Celebrate chewable multi two a day
Celebrare B-12 sublingual daily
Celebrate chewable Calcium four times a day
20,000 dry d-3 just started yesterday
Two Proferrin ES at bedtime just increased yesterday.
I get around  100 grams of protein daily. That's with two protein drinks daily. I use Nectar . And i get around 600-700 calories daily

 When my Ferritin was 7 I had an iron infusion.  Brought it right up.  Ask your doctor about it.

I will ask ,but my Dr didn't even tell me to increase my iron . He said to take 5000 of dry d3

 He didn't address your Ferritin?  Maybe you need another doctor.

God  I hate this thing that erases at will.....


for the SECOND  time  ....   You  poor starving baby  !!   Elemental iron doesn't absorb  at all  well so we have to find ANYTHING  else  ...  

I had a fairly easy  time finding  Ferro Sequels in  NYC .  Lifted  my iron levels right up .
