Allright I have a stoopid question .... my D is  89  which is  Fine according to my Nut ... and all I take are  chewable gummy bear kids flintstones  D wise  ( about 6 a day though ..thats a lot ) ( there might be  a bit is some of my calcium too  come to think of it ...)

so is the SUN  affecting my absorptiion and  allowing me to UTIILIZE  more of the D I  eat /  supplement ?  I get a lot of sun from gardening and exercise ..

It could very well be - as the D in the Flintstones vitamins is the wrong kind for us too...

You don't supplement your D otherwise?

Is it D 25? Ir D 1,25?

Sun. Myth. PIffle. Your 1,25 might change, but it's only about your blood, not what is resident on board throughout your body.

The gummies, see any B vites other than B12? Thiamine, ribflavin, niacin?

P.S.  My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

maybe the sun is working for you but I am in the sun all the time and my level pre-surgery was 35.  It certainly wasn't working for me.

The problem with the sun is that we usually wear sunscreen if we are going to get very much of it. So then the vitamin D can't be absorbed.
