Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my top reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize that's even happening  because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that,  "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and  then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

Hot tub...woohoo....did that come with the new house?  Is it indoors or outdoors?  Our 3 yr. old DGD has just discovered bubble baths in my DD big tub and she wants one every night..LOL

Do you eat the banana for potassium?  My DH eats one every day and usually 2 before his ball games.  He says they help his leg cramps.

Good Menu!

Yes, it came with the house!  It's in a screened gazebo off the deck... it's awesome fits up to 6 adults!  We turn the temp down for my four yr old so it's like a warm bath for her!

Yes, I have been having charlie horses in my feet lately, so I bought a bunch of bananas....plus, I think before a workout, I should eat something.

 2 protein chai teas

doing the front yard  (  about six  large containers ...  new soil , compost etc and seeds )

sour pickle and freshly  picked tri- color  bean stew ... YUM !!  ( sounds really weird doesnt it ...  but its GREAT )  In Hungary almost EVERYONE  eats stuff likethis  in cafeterias for lunch ..  its very inexpensive , incredibly yummy , high fiber , fat free and great FOR you  ( and hardly caloric )

They eat  a giant bowl of tasty fresh vegetable stew , some kind of meat or fish , a piece bread and usually a SMALL  dinner  at home later ... even retirees  who come eat at the same cafeterias  for practically nothing .  And as a result  everyone practically lives forever  ..and largely doctor - free .

Most people eat  yogurt for breakfast  ( or fresh bread and cheese )  ....and  snack on fruit .. and eat the same thing  or cold cuts for dinner .... very simple food .

the end result is very litle need to go to the gym either ... and practically noone's  overweight compared to here  .  Of course things ARE changing  with the advent of  processed supermarket foods and fast food ...

....sounds like a divine way to live to me!!!!

Next year I want to try my hand at a larger vegetable garden...  still using most of my time getting the inside of the house done.  But we did manage to plant our very first tomato plants and some strawberry plants.  We got a couple tiny tomatoes starting to grow (can't wait for those!).  The strawberry plants were transplants we were given, so those won't produce fruit until next year...they already have for this season.  I've got a lot to learn... I know nothing about gardening.
