About 5 weeks out now and lower left belly pain??
If it's not excruciating pain, it may be adhesions forming inside as you heal. I would mention it to my surgeon though. It could also indicate hernia or slight obstruction, and you may want to have it checked out. Keep us posted.

Thanks Gina for your reply, I really hope it's not adhesions as that was a major problem when I had this surgery. I had my entire abdomen covered with adhesions like a spider web they had to untangle before they could perform my surgery. Itsort of feels almost like I can feel my "poo poo" move around the bends in my stomach. Yesterday pain was high up and today it's lower left and I've noticed these last couple of daysis a bit of a struggle to go to the toilet. I've taken a mild laxative tonight and hopefully if this is the problem that will move things along. I see my surgeon next week on the Thursday as I've had a lot of that terrible high up under the breastbone pain still.
Cheers from Karin (in Oz)
Oh, I've had the poo poo moving around thing... it happens when I don't eat the right stuff or get enough fiber.

I don't have suggestions but did have the spiderweb stuff to clean out before surgery. Ended up with a much longer procedure because of it. I know I was still sore for many weeks but this sounds worse than just sore. Glad you already have an appointment with your surgeon. Hopefully it will be better before then.
