Everything flowing as it should
So I had an x-ray and somethin' or another where I drank some barium and they watched it go down. The radiologist said I was a "little" narrow but that it was normal for this stage of recovery. So I guess that's a good thing, but the bad thing is I still hurt and am puking up a storm. My doc was in a "highly involved" surgery this afternoon so I haven't heard back about nausea meds. So for now, I just keep on truckin!

I hope the doc gets a chance to review your tests and can get you some meds ordered. I know you must feel awful. Do your best. Try water with fresh lime and a little Splenda or some herbal ginger tea. Ginger might help the nausea. Feel better.

The doc called tonight and said he could either give me a scrip for a patch or something to take rectally...I told him he could atleast buy me a non-alcoholic, decaffeinated, un-carbonated drink first...he didn't see my humor. So I'm going to try the patch for a few days, if that doesn't work, I'm headed in for IV fluids, if THAT doesn't work, I give up. I was able to drink some powerade this evening with no puking, so that's a good thing! Baby steps maybe?
