Totally off topic but I have 23 roosters we've been raising for meat that are 1 week away from butcher and they crow ALL DAY LONG.

I can't wait until next weekend when we get to silence them once and for all...

That's all...carry on!

Hmm...I don't think they can read your spiffy new license plates.  Maybe they need glasses.

I used to stay with a friend when I went to SC with the ponies and she had chickens.  Oh my gosh.  What a racket.  I have another friend with them but either her house is better insulated or something.  Anyway, I don't hear them there.  But the others started at 5 in the morning.  I am an early riser but not usually at 5.  Glad they are gone finally.  I know you will be happy when yours are gone too.

Well we had 26 but a racoon got 3 of them so we have 23 roosters that we are raising for meat.  Then we have 6 layers.

Yummy, all that fresh meat. I hope you get through the week quickly so you can enjoy them later. My in laws are cattle ranchers and I love the homegrown meat.

I love growing my own food.  I'm much more apt to actually eat solid food knowing where it came from!
