Sorry, been off lately, update on my happenings...

Well everyone......those that know me, see that my user name is different, but my avatar is still the same!!  If you remember me posting a bit back about my marriage....  Well, it is coming to an end!!  I'm moving out tomorrow morning.  We are being very civil about the separation of all our assets....(more debt then assets really).  Hopefully this should be quick and painless.  It all got very ugly a few weeks back!!  I was scared for my life twice.  He saw a lawyer the day before I saw mine.  Ever since he met with his lawyer, he has been a changed person!!  A lot calmer and not as argumentative!  He has helped me pack some and is helping me move.  I've/we've flipped out on each other a few times, but we've gotten through them!  My family and friends are very supportive of me and my decisions!  Unfortunately I have to move into my parents house for a few weeks.  I found a house to rent, but it won't be ready til the end of July.  Honestly, I can't stick around here that long!!!  I was aiming for July 1, then July 8......well check out the date I'm leaving June 25!!!  I can't do it any longer!!!!  I don't like the person I am when I'm in the same room or house as he is!! 

I changed my user name because one night (one that I was scared for my life), he was telling me I was mentally messed up!  He said that he read after people have WLS the Divorce rate increases as does the Suicide rate!  I said What are you talking about?!  I know those rates go up, but the reasons are not for what he is telling me!!!  People have WLS and the lose weight and many gain confidence.  I did!  I gained the confidence to not put up with his **** any more!!  The suicide rate is because people don't do research and can't handle the roller coaster ride you go through.  That is what I've come to the conclusion of.  He was saying that because of the surgery, it messes up our brains!!!!  OMG, he was crazy that night!!  He quoted that he was reading OH, so I jumped in and changed my user name and password!  I didn't need him spying on me (as he has been doing for the last 15 yrs)!!  And I was afraid he would use my posts & support against me! 

I will be signing off for a bit, til I get settled.  I will try to jump on here and lurk when I can.  I will keep ya all posted!!  Thank you for all your support!!!!!!  You guys are awesome, I love my LW friends!!!!

Sorry to hear you are going through all this. Divorce is tough that's for sure. But as long as you seek help when it gets rough, you'll make it through. We'll all do our best to lend an ear when you need us to.
